I joined the Royal Navy in 1948 and, after training in 1952, I went to Korea on HMS Newcastle. As part of the Deep Sea Rover crew on her, I was active with scouting in Hong Kong, and my best friends there were a couple working for the HK government. He was the Scout leader of the Deep Sea crew.

I lost contact with him due to various circumstances, including moving to Canada in 1968. I would love to know if he is still alive and have photographs to send to family if they wish to get in touch.

I AM trying to trace an old school friend, Jean Meikle. That is her maiden name and I know she is with Nev. She has a sister Clare (surname unknown) who did live in Newcastle.

I lost my address book a few years back.

I still get a Christmas card from Jean and Nev addressed to my old address, which I left over a year ago.

I do not know where they live but it is down south. I would love to contact her again.
