: Focus put on reality TV show.


A DISCUSSION session about the new reality television series Cariad at Iaith (Learning About Life) was held on the stand of the Nant Gwrtheyrn National Centre for Language and Culture at the Eisteddfod eisteddfod (īstĕth`vəd, –vôd) [Welsh,=session], Welsh competitive festival. Contests traditionally are held in all the arts and crafts, with special emphasis on music and poetry.  yesterday.

Gwenda Griffith, from TV company Fflic, the producers of the series, headed the team discussing the challenges faced by the production staff during filming and where the idea for the shows originated.

The series was filmed over a two-month period at Nant Gwrtheyrn, when a total of 16 people came together with the aim that they should all be able to converse in Welsh at the end of the filming period.

The first programme of the series will be shown on S4C S4C skate for cancer
S4C Siannel Pedwar Cymru (Channel 4 Wales, Television) 
 on September 17.
