 inaugurated the CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia Fair at TUYAP TUYAP Tum Fuarcilik Yapim A.s (Turkey)  Beylikduzu Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul on Wednesday.

Gul said that Turkey was rapidly developing in informatics Same as information technology and information systems. The term is more widely used in Europe.  area, and did not stay behind the progress in the world.

Gul added that CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia Fair had been held for ten years.

President Gul said that CeBIT was one of the most prestigious fairs of the world, adding that all the big companies were participating in the fair despite the global economic crisis, and this further increased the value of CeBIT.

"10th CeBIT Bilisim (Informatics) Eurasia", Eurasia's largest digital business and technology platform, focuses on drawing the business circles with a highlight on the impressive new business solutions.

CeBIT, the largest business and technology fair of Eurasia which hosts participants and visitors from 22 countries including the U.S., Germany, France, Italy, Korea, Russia, is a great opportunity for companies to increase their market share and open out to new markets.

Organisers of the event, officials of "HIFAS Fairs", said that despite the global crisis, Cebit Bilisim Eurasia 2009 attracted more domestic and foreign visitors then the previous year.

159,302 people visited the fair in 2008 and 70,000 of whom were professionals.

The fair, which provides the platform for more efficient business negotiations with its differentiated structure in 2009, introduces local and foreign business delegates to new information technologies.

Navigation devices, digital imaging devices, hardware components, home cinema systems, smart home appliances are on display at the "Consumer Electronics" section which welcomes visitors in the 6th hall, with special deals and discounts.

Digital systems, mobile products, services, softwares and appliances are on display at the "Digital Life section" aimed at end users, which is located at the 7th hall. Telecommunication services are given prominence in this section.
