(GEN) TURKISH MINISTER ATTENDS CEREMONY AT SARAJEVO UNIVERSITY.


SARAJEVO, Jun 27, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- The Turkish environment minister participated in a graduation ceremony at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Bosnia and Herzegovina (bŏz`nēə, hĕrtsəgōvē`nə), Serbo-Croatian Bosna i Hercegovina, country (2005 est. pop. 4,025,000), 19,741 sq mi (51,129 sq km), on the Balkan peninsula, S Europe.  on Friday.

Turkey's Environment & Forestry Minister Veysel Eroglu attended the first graduation ceremony at the International University of Sarajevo.

Before the ceremony, Eroglu inaugurated a male student dormitory on the university campus.

The IUS was inaugurated in the academic year of 2004-2005. The university comprises the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Business and Public Administration, and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is the largest faculty in the National University of Singapore (NUS). It is made up of three main departments, Asian Studies, Humanities and Social Sciences. . IUS is open to students from all over the world, and the language of instruction and communication is English.
