Before the ceremony, Eroglu inaugurated a male student dormitory on the university campus. The IUS was inaugurated in the academic year of 2004-2005. The university comprises the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Business and Public Administration, and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is the largest faculty in the National University of Singapore (NUS).
