(GEN) TURKISH LAWMAKER IN AZERBAIJAN.


BAKU, Oct 28, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkish lawmaker and head of the Turkish parliament's foreign relations Foreign relations may refer to:

 Mercan, has arrived in the Azeri capital, Baku for a series of talks.

Mercan is scheduled to meet on Wednesday with Azeri Parliament Speaker Oktay Esedov, and he will participate in a meeting of the parliamentary foreign relations committees of Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The Turkish lawmaker is set to meet with Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Memmedyarov on Thursday. Mercan will be received by Azeri President Ilham Aliyev on Friday before returning to Turkey.
