(GEN) SPEAKER OF NIGERIAN HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO VISIT TURKEY.

The Senate of Nigeria is the upper house.

The current House of Representatives, formed following elections held on 12 April 2003, has a total of 360 members who are
, will pay a visit to Turkey upon invitation by Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan.

Bankole and accompanying delegation will arrive in the capital Ankara on Friday.

Toptan and Bankole had a tete-a-tete meeting and chaired meetings between delegations of the two countries.

Speaker Bankole will proceed to Istanbul on July 11 and leave Turkey on July 13.

Oladimeji Sabur Bankole is a Nigerian politician and Speaker of the House of Representatives. Elected at age 37,Bankole is the youngest Speaker in the history of the House in Nigeria.
