(GEN) COUNTER NARCOTIC OPERATIONS.DENIZLI/GAZIANTEP/EDIRNE, Nov 10, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Gendarmery seized 3.4 kg of hashish hashish (hăsh`ēsh, –ĭsh), resin extracted from the flower clusters and top leaves of the hemp plant, Cannabis sativa, and C. indica. in Cal town of the western province of Denizli on Monday. Three people were detained in the operation. Police in the southeastern province of Gaziantep confiscated 9.8 kg of hashish, and detained four people in the operation.
