(GEN) BOAT CARRYING ILLEGAL MIGRANTS SINKS IN AEGEAN TOWN, ALL SURVIVE.


BODRUM, Nov 17, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- A boat carrying illegal migrants sank off an Aegean resort town of Turkey on Tuesday.

The boat sank off Bitez coast of Aegean resort town of Bodrum shortly after it set sail. It was carrying 30 people from Palestine, Afghanistan and Burma who tried to sneak into Greek islands.

Most of the illegal migrants swam to the shore and survived whereas women and children were rescued by fishermen.

The illegal migrants would be deported once legal proceedings All actions that are authorized or sanctioned by law and instituted in a court or a tribunal for the acquisition of rights or the enforcement of remedies.  were completed, gendarmery forces said.
