(ECO) TUSIAD TO HOST PSLO MEETINGS IN ISTANBUL.ISTANBUL, Oct 5, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (Turkish: Türk Sanayicileri ve İşadamları Derneği, TÜSİAD) is the top business association of Turkey. The current head is Arzuhan Yalçındağ. (TUSIAD TUSIAD Türk Sanayici ve Isadamlari Dernegi (Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen's Association) ) will host a series of meetings in Istanbul for the Private Sector Liaison Officer (PSLO PSLO Private Sector Liaison Officer (World Bank) PSLO Platform Starboard Low ) group. The group is comprised of 40 high level professionals working in institutions correspondent to TUSIAD. The meetings will take place in cooperation with World Bank Group and French Development Agency within the scope of IMF-World Bank annual meetings, according to TUSIAD's written statement. The meetings are expected to focus on financial crisis, climate change, renewable energy, food security, agriculture, as well as activities of World Bank in Africa. Separately, a seminar will take place on "Investment and Trade Opportunities in Turkey" which will assess recent developments in foreign policy and economy in Turkey. The participants will be introduced sectoral and regional opportunities in Turkey.
