(ECO) TURKISH STOCK EXCHANGE RANKED 6TH AMONG WORLD EXCHANGES.


ISTANBUL, Aug 22, 2009 (TUR) -- The Istanbul Stock Exchange Istanbul Stock Exchange

The sole securities exchange in Turkey.
 (IMKB IMKB Istanbul Menkul Kiymetler Borsasi (Istanbul Stock Exchange) ), Turkey's main share index, ranked the sixth among world stock exchange markets which recorded the highest increase in terms of market value.

Figures of World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) gathered by the A.A correspondent showed that the market value in the IMKB rose by 65.09 percent in the first seven months of 2009 when compared to the same period last year.
