In an interview with A.A on Wednesday, ambassador Sander Gunduz said that Tanzanian economy offered great potential for Turkish investors. Gunduz said Turkey and Tanzania could mainly cooperate in agriculture, health, infrastructure and energy areas. He said that Tanzanian officials started attaching great importance to relations with Turkey especially after Turkish President Abdullah Gul's recent visit to Tanzania. Noting that Tanzania saw Turkey as a model and supportive country, Gunduz said such positive attitude should be evaluated well. Gunduz also said that transportation between Turkey and Tanzania was a problematic issue, adding that Turkish Airlines (THY Thy thymine. ) was currently making an assessment on the passenger capacity and availability of planes in order to start direct flights to this country.
