(ECO) TURKEY'S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE BECOMES 13.4 PERCENT.ANKARA, Nov 16, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkey's unemployment rate increased 0.6 percent to 13.4 percent in August 2009, Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK TUIK Türkiye Istatistik Kurumu (Turkey) ) said on Monday. Unemployment rate was 12.8 percent in July 2009. According to the TUIK's Household Labor Force Survey for August 2009, labor force participation rate was calculated as 49.3 percent.
