(ECO) SYRIAN CONSTRUCTION MINISTER IN ANKARA.


ANKARA, Apr 19, 2010 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkish Public Works & Housing Minister Mustafa Demir met with Syrian Construction & Housing Minister Umar Ibrahim Ghalawanji in Ankara on Monday.

Ghalawanji said at the meeting that they wanted to cooperate with Turkey's Ministry of Public Works & Housing since they could not yet set up an advanced construction inspection system in Syria.

He said that they also wanted to benefit from Turkey's experiences in urban planning, potable potable /pot·a·ble/ (po´tah-b'l) fit to drink.
