(ECO) IDO AWARDED BY AMERICAN COMMUNICATION PROFESSIONALS.


ISTANBUL, Jul 27, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Istanbul's seabus and fast ferry operator, Istanbul Deniz Otobusleri A.S. (IDO Ido (ē`dō), short name of Esperandido, an artificial language that is a simplified version of Esperanto. See international language. ), won golden prize in a communication contest organized by the League of American Communication Professionals, IDO said on Monday.

IDO won the award for its annual report in "2008 Vision Awards" in which more than 3,500 communication and design practices were evaluated.

IDO's annual report received appreciation for its cover design, coloring of financial figures presented with Istabul panorama and its typography, IDO said.

The report had won another title in the International Design Contest in February.

Founded in 1987 by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality The term "Metropolitan Municipality" is used officially and generically to mean a number of different types of local governments.
