ISTANBUL, Aug 19, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- A popular U.S. and Canadian donut & coffee chain is getting prepared to enter the Turkish market with a 3.5 million USD USD

In an interview with A.A on Wednesday, Selcuk Aylin, Turkey Director of the American brand "Krispy Kreme", said that the donut chain was a 72-year-old company with 530 cafes in 17 countries all over the world.

 sector for long years, has decided to bring Krispy Kreme to Turkey upon the brand's popularity in Britain.

Noting that production started at facilities in Turkey 10 days ago, Aylin said, "We have seen that people liked our products. We know Turkish people's sympathy towards new tastes. We hope to expand this sector in Turkey".

Aylin also said that, after the opening of their cafe in the Anatolian part of Istanbul, they would open more stores in the European side of the city, as well as in Ankara, Izmir and Adana.

Krispy Kreme is a chain of donut stores based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina Winston-Salem is a city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 185,776; in 2004 the city annexed an additional 17,483 raising the population to 203,259. , United States.

Krispy Kreme sells a variety of donuts, among them is its traditional "glazed donut", often served warm. Select varieties of Krispy Kreme products are also sold in many supermarkets, grocery stores, convenience stores, and gas stations in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
