DUBROVNIK, Jul 10, 2009 (TUR tur: see ibex. ) -- Turkey's chief European Union European Union (EU), name given since the ratification (Nov., 1993) of the Treaty of European Union, or Maastricht Treaty, to the

This constitutes another occasion for the EU to show that it is sincere and determined to become a global player," Egemen Bagis told a summit meeting in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Bagis said the EU should first "function properly" in its region in order to become a global player as "millions of Chinese people The following is a '''list of famous Chinese-speaking/writing people. Bagis said peace, stability and bilateral trust have yet to be maintained in the Balkans accompanied by lingering corruption and organized crime, adding that Kosovo's fragile situation was still open to threats.

"The Balkans is the center of Europe's security. We have no choice but to help strengthen stability and prosperity in our region," Bagis said.
