Occurring every third year. 2. Lasting three years. n. 1. A third anniversary. 2. A ceremony or celebration occurring every three years. which was held in Sofia, Bulgaria between May 17-20, 2009. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vefik Alp who represented Turkey in the Triennial jury, told AA on Thursday that he was honored with the success of the Turkish students. He said the jury awarded Emre Demirtas and Ibrahim Turkeli from Kocaeli University of Turkey in the competition of Student's Diploma Projects from Leading Architectural Schools. 240 projects from 18 countries were displayed at "INTERACH 2009", which is the biggest triennial of architecture with 28 years of history. It is an international forum with professional participation of architects and theoreticians from all over the world, profiling a panorama of the tendencies and achievements of the world contemporary architecture.
