Michael Ellis, 23, hitch-hiked with her for two weeks before police found them camping on a beach in Mundesley, Norfolk. Alison Cunningham, prosecuting, told Lincoln crown court that there was no evidence of a sexual relationship. Bourne Bridge (1935), across the canal, made the town an entry point to Cape Cod and a resort and commercial center. , Lincs, and Ellis had survived a suspected suicide pact prior to going hitch-hiking.
