The group will be performing The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas at the Old Rep, in Station Street, in July. Member Jessamine jessamine: see jasmine. Cox said: "We are in desperate need of men for our show. "We are a very friendly company and the show is based on the film of the same name which originally starred Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds. "It's a hilariously saucy comedy, in the country and western/burlesque style," she added. "As the show has a very male-strong cast, it has left us with minimal men for chorus roles. "We have a team of 12 very attractive 'whores' and nowhere near enough men to accommodate them. Can anyone out there help?" The group rehearses every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 10pm at the Ladywood Arts and Leisure Centre, and wants to hear from any enthusiastic men aged 16 to 60.
