The book written by Nicholas Sparks is about a young couple falling in love in 1940s.

After taking the audiences by storm with its big screen adaptation starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, it will now be turned into a stage musical.

The musical is being adapted by "One Tree Hill" actress Bethany Joy Galeotti Bethany Joy Galeotti (born Bethany Joy Lenz on April 2 1981 in Hollywood, Florida) is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actress. Trained by the director of The Brooklyn College of Opera, Galeotti can sing, play guitar and piano and compose music.  and record producer Ron Aniello, reports the New York Daily News New York Daily News
