'Singles Night' Scheduled for Nov. 10 During WTA Tour Championships at STAPLES Center.

LOS ANGELES -- Are you looking for a new way to meet new single professionals while enjoying some of the best women's professional tennis in the world? Then, don't miss "Singles Night" during the WTA Tour Championships, Wednesday, Nov. 10, beginning at 6 p.m. at STAPLES Center.

Hosted by the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) and AEG, the advance purchase ticket price of $35 ($40 at the door) includes a cocktail party in a Private Event Suite overlooking the court at STAPLES Center and a ticket to the evening's WTA Tour Championship matches. Some of the biggest names in women's tennis are scheduled to play.

According to LASEC President Kathy Schloessman: "Single professionals are always looking for fun events to attend. Many are sports fans so this is a great way to watch some great tennis at STAPLES Center and make some new friends. Only 200 tickets are available, so we strongly suggest signing up quickly." The WTA Tour is the world's premier professional sport for women. In 2004, more than 1,000 players representing 76 nations are competing for $58 million in prize money at 60 events in 30 countries. As of today, Amelie Mauresmo, Anastasia Myskina, Lindsay Davenport and Svetlana Kuznetsova have all qualified to play. Elena Dementieva, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova and Jennifer Capriati are fighting for the last four spots.
