'SO WE GOTTA SAY GOOD-BYE TO THE SUMMER...'
INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The month of August

heralds hotter days, warmer nights and the peak of Lake Tahoe's tourist season. This year, travelers looking to escape the summer heat of the cities will find something more when they visit Tahoe's North Shore -- savings. For the first time, the Incline Village and Crystal Bay areas will say a special "good-bye" to the summer by offering lodging packages from $66.
The package includes lodging, a $30 dining credit for selected restaurants in the area, casino fun books from the Hyatt Regency Resort & Casino and the Tahoe Biltmore, plus a recreation pass good for one hour reserved tennis court time at the Incline Village Tennis Complex or discounted green fees on the Championship or Executive Golf Courses.
Prices for this package are based on a two-night minimum stay Sunday through Thursday and start at $66 per night at the Tahoe Biltmore and the Crystal Bay Motel. Accommodations at the Cal-Neva Lodge, the Haus Bavaria Bed & Breakfast, the Inn at Incline and many two-bedroom condominiums are $119 per night. Upgraded two-bedroom condos will offer the same amenities for $135 per night with three-bedroom condos for $162 per night.
A range of cuisine, from American to Mexican to Italian, is offered by participating restaurants. Locals' favorites include Austins, Las Panchitas, Desperados and Spatz. Casino restaurants include the Sierra Cafe, Ciao Mein Trattoria and Hugo's on the Lake at the Hyatt Regency, the Lakeview Room at the Cal-Neva and the Coffee Shop at the Tahoe Biltmore.
A variety of activities provide unlimited recreational choices for visitors and residents. Swimming, boating, jet skiing, parasailing, wind surfing and sailing await water sports fans, while hiking, mountain biking, roller blading, tennis, golf and sunbathing are available for landlubbers.
