 'QUEST FOR GLORY III: THE WAGES OF WAR,' SHIPS FOR MS-DOS;
 AN INCREDIBLE, REPLAYABLE TREK FOR ADVENTUROUS HEROES
 COARSEGOLD, Calif., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Journey deep into the heart of Africa for an adventure rich with diverse cultures and exotic peoples in "Quest for Glory III: The Wages of War," just released from Sierra On-Line (NASDAQ: SIER) for MS-DOS. Designed by renowned game authors Lori and Corey Cole, "The Wages of War" is by far the darkest, deadliest and most complex "Quest for Glory" ever brought to the computer screen.
 Play either as a fighter, magic user, thief or Paladin imported from "Quest for Glory I/II" or as an entirely new character in the quest to battle an unspeakable evil that lies at the very heart of fear and violence. Unleashed by the death of Ad Avis in "Quest for Glory II," the evil that envelopes a continent has sent major shock waves rippling into the East African village of Tarna, located on the banks of the Mto Kubwa river at the edge of the great savanna. Ancient hostilities have erupted into war between the Simbani and the Leopardmen. Their conflict threatens a nation and draws in Rakeesh the Liontaur and Uhura, friends of the hero. With wits, might and magic as his tools, the hero seeks to bring peace between the warring tribes while discovering the value of friendship and the importance of honor.
 Featuring the Coles' unmatched story-telling skills and lively African melodies that echo throughout the beautifully hand-painted backgrounds of East Africa, "Quest for Glory III" is sure to be a hit this Christmas. The game's innovative "tell about" and "ask about" branching menus allow players to delve deeper and deeper into conversations for clues. More than 6,000 lines of dialog with more than 60 native characters bring this fantasy incredibly close to reality.
 "Quest for Glory III: The Wages of War" supports both 256-color and 16-color on the same set of disks. The game is shipping on five 3.5-inch or six 5.25-inch disks. All major sound cards are supported and a hard disk is required. Suggested retail price is $69.95.
