'Psycho' attack sentence reduced.A WOMAN convicted of a Psycho-style shower attack on a teenage girl has had her sentence reduced at London's appeal court. Carly Barrett, 21, of Atwell Street, Anfield, was locked up for six years at Liverpool crown court last July. She was found guilty of wounding her friend's love rival Paige Affelat with intent in June 2006. Yesterday she unsuccessfully challenged the safety of her conviction but had her sentence cut to five years. In the trial the assault was compared to the infamous shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock's film Psycho Psycho Hitchcock’s classic horror film. [Am. Cinema: NCE, 1249] See : Horror . When a corporation is composed of an indefinite number of persons, any number of them consisting of a majority of those hospital order in December last year after admitting wounding with intent. Miss Affelat was slashed with a knife and broken bottle while washing her hair at home, leaving her needing 100 stitches.
