'Plan delay costs EUR1.5m per month' CONSTRUCTION.

A MAJOR construction project, that has been delayed for over 15 months, costs a county EUR EUR

In currencies, this is the abbreviation for the Euro.

Notes:
The currency market, also known as the Foreign Exchange market, is the largest financial market in the world, with a daily average volume of over US $1 trillion.
1.5million per month, it emerged yesterday.

The construction of Newgate Centre in Waterford has been postponed because of appeals made to An Bord Pleanala.

Paul Miskella, of KRM KRM Knowledge Resource Management  Construction Partnership, said: "Using Central Statistics Office data showing the average weekly income in the construction industry is EUR817.41, this represents a weekly injection of EUR343,312.20 to the local economy and, through taxes, the Exchequer.

"This is the equivalent to EUR1.5million per month so that's what is not being paid out to local workers as we await the outcome to the planning appeals process."
