'Own brand' firm benefits from squeeze; COMPANIES TODAY: RETAIL.


PRIVATE label household goods supplier McBride said it has performed ahead of expectations after recession-hit consumers opted for retailers' own brand products.

The company, which makes products such as laundry liquids, mouthwash mouthwash /mouth·wash/ (mouth´wosh) a solution for rinsing the mouth.
