'One dart' takes on locals; Darts.


CHARISMATIC former world No 1 Peter Manley Peter David Manley (born 7th March 1962) is a darts player who plays under the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Nicknamed "One Dart" (as he was once known to have a knack for hitting doubles with his first dart), Manley is one of the most outspoken players on the darts circuit.  entertained a healthy crowd of Teesside darts fans in an exhibition at The Empire nightclub in Middlesbrough. 'Amateur players Trevor Wright and Anth Doyle both enjoyed the distinction of hitting 180s against the Carlisle-based right-hander, and Si Hopkins, Karl Foxton and Martyn Bulman all went one better by beating him.

But Manley showed his class -and the finishing that has earned him the nickname One Dart dart

 World No 1 and new World Cup champion Tony O'Shea Tony O'Shea (Stockport, May 9 1961) is an English darts player who competes for the British Darts Organisation. Due to his squat figure, he's nicknamed Silverback.  is appearing at Whale Hill Social Club in Eston on Saturday, December 19.
