'Mr Big' in pounds 1m island drugs plot; TRIAL.

AN accused drug smuggler in an alleged plot to flood Jersey with cannabis was once Europe's most wanted Most Wanted may refer to:

 man, a court heard yesterday Curtis "Cocky" Warren and five others deny conspiring to sneak pounds 1million of dope into the Channel Island.

The trial jury in the capital St Helier was told the Liverpudlian had been freed from a Dutch prison after 10 years for manslaughter, drug trafficking and firearms offences. Warren, 46, had also been Interpol's most wanted man.

Stephen Baker (born August 30, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas) was a former professional American football player who was selected by the New York Giants in the 3rd round of the 1987 NFL Draft.
, defending, suggested to detective sergeant Paul Kennea there must have been "great excitement" about observing him on the island and he must have read a best-selling book about Warren's criminal career.

The officer replied: "About 10 years ago on the beach."

Warren was also described as: "The only alleged drug trafficker to have appeared in the Sunday Times Rich List The Sunday Times Rich List is a list of the 1,000 most wealthy people or families in the United Kingdom, updated annually in April and published as a magazine supplement by British national Sunday newspaper The Sunday Times since 1989. ."

The trial at the Royal Court in St Helier continues.
