A sequence of numbers, a1, a2, a3, … , is said to "approach infinity" if the numbers eventually become arbitrarily large, i.e. Bridges. Spanning one river but two generations, both rest on Teesside tempered steel - 450t of it in the case of the award winning Stockton bridge, which opened this month. But that's not all the area can lay claim to. From award-winning engineering to the dynamic digital sector, products as diverse as photo-voltaic panels and parmos are generated on our very doorstep. And, increasingly, there's a sense that we ought to value them..
