'KILLER' STORED LOVER'S BURIAL SITE ON SAT NAV; Murder charge denied.

Byline: PATRICK MULCHRONE

A MAN accused of killing his lover then burying her body saved details of her gravesite grave·site

into his car's sat nav system, a court heard.

Married Lukasz Reszpondek, 30, logged it on a list of his "favourite" locations, naming it "TT" - an abbreviation of Ermatati "Tati" Rodgers name.

Polish-born Reszpondek claims he buried Ms Rodgers, 41, from Indonesia, "in panic" after she died of natural causes. He denies murdering her.

But prosecutor Michael Chambers told the jury that "quite simply" innocent people did not bury bodies. The dad-of-two buried her body in January 2008 but tried to dig her up again 14 months later in March this year as police closed in on him.

Officers did not know exactly where Reszpondek had buried the body, but noticed he kept going back to the same spot in a field in Wrexham, Clwyd so laid a trap by beginning to dig nearby in a blaze on fire; burning with a flame; filled with, giving, or reflecting light; excited or exasperated.

They then watched Reszpondek hiding in bushes and using binoculars.

He tried to move the body at night but was unable to, so decided to go to a police station to tell officers where to find it.

Mr Chambers told Mold crown court he might have got away with murder had he not made a series of errors.

He bought a spade SPADE - Specification Processing And Dependency Extraction. Specification language. G.S. Boddy, ICL Mainframes Div, FLAG/UD/3DR.003 , suitcase and other items used to bury the body on his credit card, which were traced.

He buried her body in clay which preserved it and he recorded the burial site on his car satnav.

Reszpondek had initially met Ms Rodgers at a dairy farm near Wrexham where they both worked.

Mr Chambers told the jury he lost his temper and strangled stran·gle

Deleted "glamour photos" of Mrs Rodgers were also found on his digital camera. The trial continues.
