Otherwise, it's a bit of a mess (and probably intentionally so, so as to annoy adults): The stories have only a casual relationship to common sense and lack decent jokes, preferring instead to glide by on their hipper-than-thou (by 10-year-old standards, at least) attitude. Even my stepdaughters shrugged after sitting through the premiere - clearly it won't become Numbuh One in our household anytime soon. CODENAME: KIDS NEXT DOOR - Two stars What: Animated adventures of youthful spies who battle adults and well-mannered children. Where: Cartoon Network. When: 7 and 10 tonight. In a nutshell: Cute design but runs on attitude more than wit or storytelling.
