'JUDGING' MEDICS RUINED MY LIFE; Surrogate mum claim.Byline: CAITLIN MACKAY A SURROGATE mum yesterday claimed she was deliberately neglected by medical staff. The 37-year-old mum-of-two says she was "morally judged" by staff at Dr Gray's hospital Dr. Gray's Hospital is an NHS hospital in Elgin, Moray, Scotland. It is administered by the NHS Grampian region. The hospital was founded as a result of a bequest by Dr Alexander Gray (d. 1807), who was born in Elgin but worked as a surgeon for the East India Company. in Elgin, Moray, during the hospital's first surrogate birth last year. The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is now suing health chiefs for the damage to her body during the difficult birth. "I should've been treated like a normal mum having her third baby. "Instead I was victimised, morally judged and persecuted." She claims one member of staff asked "how I could live with myself after giving my baby away". The woman, who lives in the Moray Moray, alternate spelling of Murray Moray. For Scottish names spelled thus, use Murray. Moray, council area and former county, Scotland Moray (mûr`ē) area with her husband and their two kids, had tried to hide the fact she was a surrogate. But she claims word got out after a breaches of confidentiality by her GP and her consultant, from whom she has received written apologies. Grampian University Hospitals Trust boss, Alec Cummings, has also apologised for "shortcomings" in her care.
