'India is Central to RAD's Strategic Planning,' MRO-TEK Wins RAD's Best Distributor Award for 2000.

MRO-TEK, the exclusive distributor for RAD Data Communications RAD Data Communications (also known as "RAD") is a privately held corporation, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, that designs and manufacturers specialized networking equipment. It was founded in 1981 by Zohar Zisapel and his brother, Yehuda.  products in India, has been presented with RAD's Best Distributor Award for 2000.

The announcement was made by Efraim Wachtel, RAD's President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. "MRO-TEK enjoys a long-term relationship with RAD," explained S. Narayanan, MRO-TEK's Chairman Managing Director. Together with MRO-TEK, for example, RAD has established a joint venture for the manufacture of RAD products in India. Located in the Electronics City suburb of Bangalore, the joint venture produces RAD's ASM-20 and ASM-31 modems, as well as HTU-E1 and HTU-2 HDSL See DSL.
