'Hitler Youth' Synagogue Restored to Jews in Poland.

After decades of remaining empty, a synagogue synagogue (sĭn`əgŏg) [Gr.,=assembly], in Judaism, a place of assembly for worship, education, and communal affairs. The origins of the institution are unclear. One tradition dates it to the Babylonian exile of the 6th cent. B.C. in Poland Poland, Pol. Organization set up by Adolf Hitler in 1933 for educating and training male youths aged 13–18 in Nazi principles. (Hitlerjugend) reopened for the Jewish New Year.
