POLICE have made a fresh appeal for help in snaring a rapist who posed as a hire-car driver to lure his victim into his car. The man tricked his 38-year-old victim into believing she was getting into a private-hire cab when he stopped to pick her up in Foleshill Road, between St Paul's Road and Broad Street, on Friday, March 26. Since the attack another woman has come forward who said she thought she had been approached by the same man a week earlier, and police warned that he might strike again.
