'HELL CAB' FROM TIME WARNER INTERACTIVE GROUP NOW AVAILABLE FOR WINDOWS

BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- "Hell Cab" is ready to rock Windows. The sophisticated CD-ROM adventure game from Time Warner Interactive Group (TWIG) -- currently showcased on Macintosh -- now makes its debut on Windows. "Hell Cab" is driving the next generation of interactive multimedia software products with its cast of digitized actors, synchronized video and sound, animation, spectacular graphics and original music.
"Hell Cab" -- with over 15 hours of game play -- stars Raul, a devil- in-disguise cab driver who takes players on a cab ride from hell. Upon a game player's arrival at JFK airport, Raul offers a special cab tour of the Big Apple, complete with screeching tires and fender-benders ... and a fiendish "soul-o-meter" which always manages to charge more than the player can actually afford. As a result, the player is forced to negotiate with the devil, with the adventure then zooming into high gear.
After an initial stop at the Empire State Building, Raul takes players on a hellride through history. From a bird's-eye view of World War I to the majesty of the Jurassic period, and into the lions' dens of Nero's Rome, players are constantly challenged to take quick and decisive action as they attempt to return unscathed to Manhattan.
"Hell Cab"'s graphics are so realistic that segments of the actual adventure game will be included in an upcoming Arts & Entertainment cable channel special on the history of the Empire State Building.
Pepe Moreno, who created "Hell Cab," is a world-renowned comic book artist who also created the bestselling graphic novel "Batman: Digital Justice." "Hell Cab" -- his latest venture for CD-ROM -- carries a suggested retail price of $99.99. "Hell Cab" is now available at your local computer software store, or to order call 800-482-3766.
