THE ex-lover of an eminent surgeon found drunk in his car says he should never be allowed to work again.

Natascha Boldero claims Graham Belham breached the rules by operating on her six times during the seven years they dated.

And she blames him for leaving her dependent on crutches and a wheelchair.

Today the Mirror can highlight a catalogue of sleaze and alleged malpractice against the pounds 500,000-a-year orthopaedic specialist to the rich and famous. He has been:

CAUGHT four-and-a-half times over the limit at the wheel of his Mercedes still dressed in his blue surgeon scrubs;

ARRESTED on suspicion of murder after a prostitute was found dead with a plastic bag over her head. He was released without charge and a coroner ruled it could have been suicide or a sex game gone wrong;

CHARGED with racial harassment and criminal damage against another prostitute he showered with gifts then told: "Go back to Africa and swing from the trees." He was given a police caution;

ACCUSED by relatives over the cases of ten patients who have allegedly been disabled - or in some cases died - after surgery.

Mr Belham, 53, currently in alcohol rehab in South Africa, has celebrity clients including Heather Mills and was lauded for saving lives after the 1996 Watford rail crash.

But after last September's booze arrest - which he blamed on the deteriorating relationship with Natascha - he was given a suspended sentence and the General Medical Council ruled that for 18 months he could work only in the NHS, not privately.

Mr Belham, from Ealing, West London, is believed to be planning a return to operating when he flies home from South Africa.

But last night Natascha said he should be struck off. She added: "He cannot be allowed to continue. It's a disgrace."

Natascha claimed the surgeon breached guidelines by operating repeatedly on her.

The businesswoman added: "Walking is agony. I will never be able to wear high heels, or run. He broke his oath by having an affair and operating on me at the same time."

Natascha said they met in 1994 when Mr Belham performed an op on her feet at Lister hospital in Chelsea, West London.

She said she was operated on by Mr Belham again in 1994 when he took bone from her pelvis for a foot graft. She said the op was not a success.

She added: "Graham would get out of my bed, drive me to hospital, drop me out front then disappear before we met up inside and he operated on me. I did not realise it was wrong. The second op left me walking like a duck."

The 2001 racial harassment case involved a Ghana-born prostitute and ended in the police caution. He showered her with gifts, lent her pounds 31,000 and persuaded her to get engaged despite big rows. He was accused of stalking, breaking in and telling her to "Go back to Africa and swing from the trees."

In November 2003 Belham met Argentine prostitute Sonia online. He was arrested after her death before being freed without charge.

Mr Belham, a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons, last dated Natascha five years ago. They are in court proceedings over a cottage.
