'Clean Energy Partnerships' Forum, September 18; Event is Part of the Statewide Colorado Tech Week.


Governor's Office of Energy Management and Conservation
WHAT:
The Governor's Office of Energy Management and Conservation (OEMC),
Colorado State University (CSU) and the Northern Colorado Economic
Development Corp. (NCEDC) will host a morning energy forum: "Clean
Energy Partnerships." The forum will have two sessions focusing on
clean energy technologies:

    --  1st Session: Speakers from Colorado's premier universities and
        laboratories will discuss recent research and development in
        renewable energy and emerging energy technologies.

    --  2nd Session: Speakers will address economic development and
        private-public partnerships that focus on renewable energy
        projects in Colorado.

EXHIBITS: See emerging energy technologies in transportation
(unveiling of a new hybrid vehicle project), alternative fuels,
renewable energy, energy efficiency, and a tour of the CSU Engines and
Energy Conversion Laboratory.

WHO:
Speakers from OEMC, CSU, NCEDC, Colorado School of Mines, Jefferson
County Administrator's Office, National Renewable Energy Laboratory,
and the University of Colorado

partnerships in clean energy technologies. With the rising costs of
fuel and the uncertainty of its foreign sources, clean energy
technologies will have a vital role in meeting our energy needs. Learn
how Colorado is finding solutions to energy demands through new energy
technologies.

    Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80542
--  Driving Directions from I-25
    --  Take the CO-14 W exit toward Fort Collins
    --  Merge onto E Mulberry St.
    --  Turn slight right onto Riverside Ave. Riverside Ave. becomes
        Jefferson St.
    --  Turn right onto US-287 N/N College Ave.
    --  Turn right into parking lot at 430 North College Ave. FREE
