CAROLINE Flint Caroline Louise Flint (born 20 September 1961 in Twickenham, England) is a British Labour politician. She is the Member of Parliament for Don Valley in Northern England, the Minister of State for Employment and Welfare Reform in the Department for Work and Pensions and the  was among the rush of Ministers to resign around the time of the local and European elections.

The former Europe Minister later accused Gordon Brown of having a two-tier Cabinet and of using women as window dressing Window Dressing

Ms Short said: "She's a very attractive woman and showed it off, but it's funny to be both doing that and then accusing of being used for window dressing because she was window dressing herself, wasn't she? "I heard her speak on Woman's Hour, saying you want politicians to appeal all across, so you should appear in formats other than the Today Programme and heavy newspapers.

"But I think the truth about Caroline is that she's very ambitious, she wanted to be in the Cabinet. She was bitterly disappointed and she went off in a huff and said that."
