'Bug' fear hits court hearing.

A COURT hearing involving a man who attacked a football linesman in Birmingham has been adjourned because he may have contracted swine flu swine flu

But before the hearing was due to start at Birmingham Crown Court, Jane Sarginson, for White, told Judge Roderick Henderson the defendant had been complaining of symptoms similar to swine flu. She said he had attended court with his mother after being warned the case might carry on in his absence and had been advised to wait outside the building.

Judge Henderson agreed the hearing should be adjourned until next month and renewed White's bail conditions.

Mr Stanley, a father of three, suffered a fractured jaw in the attack when he was acting as a linesman for a match between Small Heath Alliance and Warren Athletic..
