 Westgate City Center The Westgate City Center is the name of a mixed-use development located in Glendale, Arizona. It is described as a super-regional[1] destination for shopping, entertainment, commercial office and luxury residential. Anchored by the Jobing.  development adjacent the Glendale Arena in Glendale, Arizona Glendale is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, USA. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 218,812. According to 2005 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 239,435.[1] It is a major suburb of Phoenix. .

Phase I, known as The Village, will consist of 10 buildings, totaling 505,000 s/f of retail and loft office space.

Fremont Investment & Loan provided the $97,500,000 construction loan, announced Jeff Teetsel, Vice President and Regional Manager in Fremont Investment & Loan's Phoenix office.

Mr. Teetsel stated, "The Ellman Companies has created a truly unique project.

"There are one million people within 10 miles of Westgate today, and the population growth in the West Valley is explosive.

"There is a need for both destination retail and Class A office space in the West Valley 101-corridor, and Westgate is both the catalyst and the hub for that development."
