The twin 30-story towers will house more than 260 units priced from $275,000 to $325,000. In keeping with the City's emphasis on pedestrian-friendly environments, the design also features 12,500 square feet of street-level retail and commercial space, a 30,000 square foot fitness club open to the public, two parking spaces per living unit, an additional 50 retail parking spaces and a $1.6 million resort-style pool with a 60-foot waterfall waterfall, a sudden unsupported drop in a stream. It is formed when the stream course is interrupted as when a stream passes over a layer of harder rock—often igneous—to an area of softer and therefore more easily eroded rock; the edge of a cliff or  flowing over the edge of the building to mark the entrance to The Towers of Channelside.

"The economic impact of The Towers of Channelside is enormous," says Mike McGuinness, vice president. "We anticipate it will generate more than $250 million to the local economy over 10 years by way of taxes and the new residents' effective buying income. This will be an extremely valuable business driver for businesses in the adjacent Channelside shops, downtown and Ybor City."
