$5M for Lake Hills.


L.J. Melody & Company arranged permanent, fixed-rate financing in the amount of $5.4 million for Lake Hills Shopping Center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into  in Fairfield, Conn.

Lake Hills Shopping Center is located on Black Rock Turnpike, a strong retail location running between the Merritt Parkway  and Interstate 95. Constructed in 1968 and renovated in 2004, the property is comprised of three buildings: a three-story, 65,200 s/f retail and office building, a one-story, 2,419 s/f bank branch building and a one-story, 4,829 s/f restaurant occupied by Pizzeria Uno. Pier 1 and Trader Joes are two of the tenants that occupy the retail and office property.
