Designed by traders, 1st Net's simulated stock trading game provides both experienced traders and novice investors with a real-world experience within a safe and secure virtual trading environment. Each participant is given $100,000 in virtual capital to begin play and the opportunity to increase their portfolio's asset value in The Stock Game Monthly Challenge.

Each Monthly Challenge will commence at the open of the market on the first open market day of the month (e.g., Wednesday, September 1, 1999, at 6:30 a.m. PST PST Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, see there ), and will end at the close of market on the last open market day of the month (e.g., Thursday, September 30, 1999, at 1:00 p.m. PST). The first place winner at the end of each Monthly Challenge will be awarded $1,500 in cash, the second place will be awarded $1,000 in cash, and the third place winner will be awarded $500 in cash.
