$35,000 in SchoolMessenger Parent-Communication Grants Announced By Reliance Communications.

, Inc., makers of the SchoolMessenger(TM) family of parent-notification solutions, which provides a proactive line of phone-based school to home communication, has announced grants valued at $35,000. These grants are aimed at assisting schools in building stronger relationships with parents. Applications close August 13, 2004.

The SchoolMessenger Parent-Communication Grant is a fully-funded technology implementation for fostering family involvement, increasing attendance and raising student achievement. Two (2) applicants will be selected to receive the SchoolMessenger Desktop Calling System and two years of Parent-Communication Program Support (total value $5,000 per award). In addition to the fully-funded grants, ten (10) partial assistance matching grants matching grant Academia Non-peer-reviewed funding in which a commercial enterprise, foundation, or philanthropy, federal government, contributes a sum of money that 'matches' a financial contribution made by an institution, university or hospital.  will be awarded (total value $2,500 per award).
