Steve Siegel, a senior associate in the firm's Manhattan office marketed the property and also secured the ultimate buyer, a Manhattan-based company who was completing a 1031 exchange.

Sold for over $400 per square foot, the property is located at 2151 Lemoine Avenue. The property is adjacent to several luxury high-rise apartment buildings and office buildings.

"The purchaser of this shopping center owns properties around the country and looks for prime, A+ irreplaceable real estate," said Siegel, a director of Marcus & Millichap's National Retail Group.
