$120M Equis purchase completed.


United Group Limited has completed the acquisition of Equis Corporation for $120 millionplus a potential performance payment.

"We are pleased to welcome Equis staff and customers to United Group. Equis' very capable senior management team will continue to manage the business with David Montross becoming the chief executive with immediate effect," said United Group's managing director and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Richard Leupen.

He added that Montross will assume full responsibility for all aspects of the Equis business and the founder and vendor of Equis, Michael Silver, will provide a strategic advisory role to United Group and Equis. "We see this acquisition as an important part of our long term strategy to lead specialist market sectors and provide a long term growth platform for our business," said Mr Leupen.

Montross has more than 22 years experience in commercial real estate and has served as Equis' chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
