$115 MILLION BUDGET BEFORE SCHOOL BOARD.

BURBANK -- The Burbank Unified School District A unified school district is a school district which includes both primary school (kindergarten through middle school or junior high) and high school (grades 9-12). In Illinois, these districts are called unit school districts.  Board of Education is expected to approve a $115 million general fund budget tonight, a jump of nearly $4 million over last year.

Under the financial plan, officials could add salaries for nearly five teaching positions and will set aside $1.3 million for anything from restoring school campuses to adding custodians
