Recognized throughout the commercial real estate industry as the builder of choice for highly designed and technically sophisticated projects, Sciame is completing the architectural vision of the world-renowned Renzo Piano Renzo Piano (September 14 1937) is a world renowned Italian architect and Pritzker Architecture Prize winner. Biography Piano was born in Genoa, where he still maintains a home and office (Building Workshop). Building Workshop, in conjunction with New York-based architecture firm Beyer Blinder Belle. The design calls for the preservation of the library's three building complex which includes the 1906 Charles McKim Building, the 1928 Annex and the 19th Century structure which served as the Morgan family residence--and the addition of a newly constructed, 75,000-square-foot multi-level structure that ties all the components together.
