$100m deal secures Connecticut waterfront property.

Antares, a Greenwich, CT-based real estate firm, recently announced the purchase of the Clearview properties, an elite collection of assets on the Connecticut waterfront.

With the acquisition of Clearview, Antares, led by the dynamic development team of Joseph Beninati and James Cabrera, foresees substantial development possibilities on the Greenwich and Stamford waterfront over the next 10 years.

"This acquisition is simply another critical element of Antares' strategy to become the dominant real estate firm in Greenwich and the surrounding sur·round

," says Antares managing partner and co-founder, Joseph Beninati.

"The Clearview assets position Antares during the next ten years for prime waterfront development in the Greenwich and Stamford area, and our portfolio is now substantial enough to gain access to the finest deal flow in our preferred geography because we are recognized as creative buyers with the means to close the largest and most complex deals."

* Antares also gains a substantial interest in Stonington Commons, a high-end waterfront residential development totaling 29 townhouses and 7 waterfront homes.

Antares co-founder and managing partner Jim Cabrera adds, "The Clearview assets have tactically rounded out the Antares portfolio to include an ownership and management position in the most exclusive hotel in Greenwich (the Delamar), the most valuable office building in Greenwich (Pickwick Plaza), the office building on the Stamford waterfront with the highest rated tenant credit (Seaview House), the most sought after dock space on the Fairfield waterfront, and finally the most successful and exclusive gated community gat·ed community
